Unfortunately 99.9999% of us do not just workout and stretch all day everyday. Everyone has some repetitive nature to their day whether it is through their occupation, a sport, or a household chore. This is where performance treatment comes in. The first thing I always ask my patients is what a typical day looks like for them. This allows me to recognize their repetitive movement patterns, as treatment will consist of BALANCING this out.

 

I evaluate each joint of the body to assess asymmetries in range of motion or strength. When asymmetries are discovered, we fix it immediately before they become poor movement patterns and then manifest into pain. I recommend that all my patients receive a performance treatment at least once per month to ensure body optimization. This is also how I take care of my body, along with all of my corrective exercises.
